Halesworth and Blyth Valley Partnership

The aim of the Partnership is to facilitate, instigate and support social and economic community development for the betterment of those living in Halesworth and Blyth Valley Area.

History


1997
The Halesworth Partnership was set up to look into the regeneration potential of the town.

Membership included Waveney District Council, Suffolk County Council, Halesworth Town Council, Halesworth Business Group and other local interest groups.

May 1998
The Halesworth Partnership had published their vision for the Halesworth Regeneration Strategy and from the Community Conference Action Groups were formed.

2002
The Halesworth Partnership had merged with another local organisation, The Blyth Valley Partnership to form the Halesworth and Blyth Valley Partnership.

June 2003
The Halesworth and Blyth Valley Partnership became a registered charity, managed by a board of Trustees.

The aim of the Partnership is to facilitate, instigate and support social and economic community development for the betterment of those living in the area.
